In the 15thth minute of the game Jarvis McLaughlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Markham FC's Bektaş Veli Tokuz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bektaş Veli Tokuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Bazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Markham FC's Bektaş Veli Tokuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Bazo in the 21st minute of play. Bernabe Bazo scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bektaş Veli Tokuz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Isto Holttinen put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Steven Weken. Markham FC's Bektaş Veli Tokuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Bazo in the 43rd minute of play. Steven Weken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isto Holttinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Bektaş Veli Tokuz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Steven Weken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isto Holttinen's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Isto Holttinen sped through Tango en Miami FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Steven Weken. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isto Holttinen in the 77th minute of play forced Tango en Miami FC's goalkeeper Steven Weken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steven Weken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Urtzi in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jarvis McLaughlin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tango en Miami FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarvis McLaughlin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bektaş Veli Tokuz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tango en Miami FC's Steven Weken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Driscoll in the 82nd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Isto Holttinen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Markham FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
