Markham FC's Bektaş Veli Tokuz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Markham FC's goal looked a bit too open when İsmail Pekşen came free, but Bektaş Veli Tokuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Isto Holttinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Stowe City's goal looked a bit too open when Monroe Mims came free, but Kaj Helström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Niles Crane could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Bektaş Veli Tokuz however easily saved by the left post. Kaj Helström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isto Holttinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaj Helström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isto Holttinen in the 38th minute of play. Kaj Helström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daren Kelley in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Markham FC made a substitution. Terrell Zuniga replaced Orville Bowen. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niles Crane was the one to do the kick off. Kaj Helström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isto Holttinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Stowe City's Emmanuel Stroh got a free kick in the 54th minute. Stowe City's Kaj Helström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Stowe City from getting a goal against them. Nils-Emil Tunström hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. A collision led to Stowe City getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Nils-Emil Tunström hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Isto Holttinen sped through Stowe City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kaj Helström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Urtzi in the 63rd minute of play forced Stowe City's goalkeeper Kaj Helström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bektaş Veli Tokuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niles Crane in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Bartolo Urtzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaj Helström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Nathaniel Orlinsky hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Stowe City's Kaj Helström got control of the ball when Isto Holttinen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 81 played minutes Stowe City got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Price. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Stroh in the 83rd minute of play forced Markham FC's goalkeeper Bektaş Veli Tokuz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
