After taking down the ball on Stowe City's corner Matt Briggs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marc Anthonissen quite easily take care of the ball. SeaForD's Korneliusz Jekot got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Larry Vaughn fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SeaForD's protests and gave Larry Vaughn a yellow card for diving instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
