In the 8th minute Reese Otto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Myles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Illinois Bluewaters's Mar Cao got a free kick in the 9th minute. Fred Kirkpatrick scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Myles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Reese Otto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roger Myles. Illinois Bluewaters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reese Otto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danilo Maranhense got free with Rhys Dimmock in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rhys Dimmock was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Danilo Maranhense capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Danilo Maranhense really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Roger Myles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Kirkpatrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 23 minutes, Reese Otto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zamalek FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reese Otto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daron Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fred Kirkpatrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Myles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Kirkpatrick went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Zamalek FC's Daron Joseph got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Illinois Bluewaters's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Kirkpatrick came free, but Roger Myles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Illinois Bluewaters's goal looked a bit too open when Daron Joseph came free, but Roger Myles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reese Otto was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Zamalek FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Roger Myles came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Zamalek FC's Daron Joseph. But to his dismay, Daron Joseph quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 70th minute, Leon Posadzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Illinois Bluewaters's 高笑广 was substituted for Ward Mason. The supporters of Illinois Bluewaters booed when Zamalek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Posadzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rhys Dimmock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 冯永宽 in the 73rd minute of the match. Roger Myles made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Fred Kirkpatrick sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Illinois Bluewaters getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ron Harding hit a great ball. 马冰傲 kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Davis Duff got in the 81st minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Roger Myles. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-7. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Illinois Bluewaters's goalkeeper Roger Myles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roger Myles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reese Otto in the 89th minute of the match. With a little luck, Illinois Bluewaters's Roger Myles got control of the ball when Leon Posadzki tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Reese Otto came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Zamalek FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reese Otto couldn't finish the play. Illinois Bluewaters's Sal Jarrell was substituted for Şeray Gürgen.
