The audience was convinced that Bican Şeref's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger Myles was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The supporters of Moorefield AFC booed when Illinois Bluewaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Harding didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Myles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bican Şeref in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Bryan Donovan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roger Myles. Illinois Bluewaters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bryan Donovan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Roger Myles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darius Parish in the 40th minute of play. Robrecht Scheppers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Maranhense in the 45th minute. After some careless play in the Illinois Bluewaters defense, Bryan Donovan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Myles. The Illinois Bluewaters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Myles should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bican Şeref made a kick off. Roger Myles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Donovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Moorefield AFC's Bican Şeref dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Anton Item's late challenge caught a Illinois Bluewaters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Item helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes Moorefield AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anton Item. Robrecht Scheppers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Darius Parish who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Roger Myles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Darius Parish kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roger Myles. That made the score 0-7 in the 63 minute of play. In the 66th minute Darius Parish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Myles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Myles was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Darius Parish showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 67 minute of play. Bican Şeref received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Roger Myles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moorefield AFC made a substitution. Lanny Boyles replaced Darius Parish. Robrecht Scheppers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şeray Gürgen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moorefield AFC's Bryan Donovan got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roger Myles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bican Şeref in the 96th minute of play. Moorefield AFC played a much better game than Illinois Bluewaters and deserved their victory. The Illinois Bluewaters players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
