Niles Crane started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Hank Blackburn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kaj Helström. Hank Blackburn showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 9th minute, Nils-Emil Tunström made a precise shot to the right of Bektaş Veli Tokuz. Markham FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Bektaş Veli Tokuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuel Stroh in the 11th minute of the match. Stowe City's Kaj Helström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hank Blackburn in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Hank Blackburn notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Stowe City's Kaj Helström. Kaj Helström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kaj Helström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isto Holttinen in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Stowe City getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fraser Legzdins hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the game, İsmail Pekşen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Bektaş Veli Tokuz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bektaş Veli Tokuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanuel Stroh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 2-4 became the score in the 32nd minute when Emmanuel Stroh elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bektaş Veli Tokuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsmail Pekşen, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. With a little luck, Stowe City's Kaj Helström got control of the ball when Daren Kelley tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Monroe Mims managed to get in a good position for a shot. Markham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Monroe Mims was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaj Helström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Niles Crane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bektaş Veli Tokuz was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. 46 minutes into the match, Markham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niles Crane came free, but Bektaş Veli Tokuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isto Holttinen was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Stowe City got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Emil Tunström. Kaj Helström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Urtzi in the 62nd minute of play. Angelo Price hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The supporters of Markham FC booed when Stowe City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Price didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st match minute, Markham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Driscoll to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Wesley Driscoll had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaj Helström. Stowe City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wesley Driscoll was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. After a rather tough play, Markham FC's Terrell Zuniga got a free kick in the 78th minute. Kaj Helström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isto Holttinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 87th minute Isto Holttinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Stowe City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnathan Haynes to maneuver through the defense. Markham FC made a substitution. William Cobb replaced Monroe Mims. In the 91st minute Bartolo Urtzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
