Bektaş Veli Tokuz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ruben Paz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Bektaş Veli Tokuz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bektaş Veli Tokuz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarvis McLaughlin's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Steven Weken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isto Holttinen's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Markham FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Tango en Miami FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hank Blackburn took the corner. Markham FC's Hank Blackburn was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Steven Weken in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Urtzi in the 20th minute of play forced Tango en Miami FC's goalkeeper Steven Weken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bektaş Veli Tokuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Bazo in the 22nd minute of the match. Steven Weken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isto Holttinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Isto Holttinen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Steven Weken was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th minute Markham FC were awarded a corner. Hank Blackburn went to the cornerflag to take it. Hank Blackburn made a great header on Markham FC's corner, it was just that Tango en Miami FC's Steven Weken managed to reach the ball for a save. 31 minutes into the match, Tango en Miami FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Urtzi came free, but Steven Weken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Markham FC's Bartolo Urtzi to fire away a dangerous shot which Steven Weken despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 35 minutes, Bartolo Urtzi made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tango en Miami FC's Steven Weken tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Markham FC's goalkeeper Bektaş Veli Tokuz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kadim Ulaş kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Kadim Ulaş's late challenge caught a Tango en Miami FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kadim Ulaş helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Markham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kadim Ulaş to maneuver through the defense. Bektaş Veli Tokuz made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Jarvis McLaughlin sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jarvis McLaughlin to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Tango en Miami FC's goalkeeper Steven Weken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartolo Urtzi. In the 59th minute Hank Blackburn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Weken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernabe Bazo hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Steven Weken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Urtzi in the 66th minute of play. Lamar MacDonald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bektaş Veli Tokuz having to make a save. 69 minutes into the match, Markham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lamar MacDonald came free, but Bektaş Veli Tokuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markham FC's Bektaş Veli Tokuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarvis McLaughlin in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Hank Blackburn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Markham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hank Blackburn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steven Weken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Markham FC's William Cobb was substituted for Monroe Mims. Markham FC made a substitution. Terrell Zuniga replaced Orville Bowen. Markham FC's Wesley Driscoll was substituted for Hank Blackburn. 82 minutes into the match, Markham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Cuenca came free, but Bektaş Veli Tokuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 played minutes Tango en Miami FC got a freekick which was hit by Izydor Trela. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Steven Weken successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isto Holttinen in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Steven Weken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. William Cobb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Weken having to interfere. Steven Weken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrell Zuniga in the 96th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
