With 15 minutes on the clock, Bryan Clifford commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Egil Östlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonso Snider, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Egil Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonso Snider in the 33rd minute of the match. Weldon Gibbs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Egil Östlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonso Snider in the 45th minute of play forced Golden Hills's goalkeeper Egil Östlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egil Östlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Snider in the 45th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ward Doran could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Cesar Donio however easily saved by the left post. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alonso Snider to strike the kick off in the second half. San Antonio HotSPURS were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Golden Hills's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Artemio Norino took the corner. After taking down the ball on San Antonio HotSPURS's corner Artemio Norino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Egil Östlund quite easily take care of the ball. Ryan Bellamy might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cesar Donio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orville Hough hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Alonso Snider could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Egil Östlund made a huge save.
