An unexpectedly hard shot by Korey Benedict in the 16th minute of play forced Stowe City's goalkeeper Kaj Helström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Kacper Wasikowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.D. Bajen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kacper Wasikowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, S.D. Bajen's Kaj Helström threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adrian Nicolae, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Kacper Wasikowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kaj Helström. That made the score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. Kaj Helström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lincoln Hand, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Adrian Nicolae recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kaj Helström. Adrian Nicolae showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 44th minute Adrian Nicolae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrew Borgers to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Niles Crane came free, but Spencer Holder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Kacper Wasikowski made a precise shot to the right of Kaj Helström. Stowe City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Korey Benedict had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kacper Wasikowski in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaj Helström saved Stowe City from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrew Borgers during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Andrew Borgers got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 59th match minute, Stowe City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Stroh to maneuver through the defense. Fraser Legzdins charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fraser Legzdins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, Stowe City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fraser Legzdins to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to S.D. Bajen getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Aldo Marquez hit a great ball. Spencer Holder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emmanuel Stroh went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. S.D. Bajen's Sam Malone was substituted for Adrian Nicolae. Kaj Helström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korey Benedict, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Kaj Helström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Malone in the 79th minute of play. Stowe City's Kaj Helström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kacper Wasikowski in the 80th minute of play. Kaj Helström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lincoln Hand, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 87 played minutes Stowe City got a freekick which was hit by Ward Neal. Kaj Helström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stowe City's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
