Spectators: 8670 (Terracing: 6920, Seating: 1580, VIP seats: 170) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Harold Loozen started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes SeaForD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Davis Duff who took care of the corner kick. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold Loozen in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Tytus Banaszak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zamalek FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 11th minute Harold Loozen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Dimmock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Banaszak in the 15th minute of play forced SeaForD's goalkeeper Marc Anthonissen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SeaForD's Marc Anthonissen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Lane in the 16th minute of play. Rhys Dimmock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harold Loozen in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Tytus Banaszak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Anthonissen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Zamalek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zack Grier to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Harold Loozen notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock. Rhys Dimmock was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Harold Loozen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Loozen in the 26th minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Zamalek FC's Zack Grier got a free kick in the 31st minute. Rhys Dimmock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Loozen, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Salvador Calcagnini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rhys Dimmock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Harold Loozen managed to get in a good position for a shot. SeaForD's supporters rose to their feet, but Harold Loozen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rhys Dimmock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Larry Vaughn fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SeaForD's protests and gave Larry Vaughn a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Zamalek FC booed when SeaForD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larry Vaughn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marc Anthonissen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Lane, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tytus Banaszak to strike the kick off in the second half. Zamalek FC's Fred Kirkpatrick got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SeaForD's Harold Loozen got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Harold Loozen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rhys Dimmock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Marc Anthonissen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Lane, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Zamalek FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Filip Stăniloaie hit a great ball. SeaForD made a substitution. Mason Garland replaced Dominique Thorne. SeaForD's Van Castro was substituted for Harold Loozen. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by SeaForD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Davis Duff was slow to take the kick. During this time Zamalek FC's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Kirkpatrick in the 78th minute of play forced SeaForD's goalkeeper Marc Anthonissen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zamalek FC made a substitution. Jann Bernickow replaced Sergey Krasinskiy. Viktor Schukin kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Rhys Dimmock came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by SeaForD's Van Castro. But to his dismay, Van Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Rhys Dimmock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Van Castro in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Zack Grier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marc Anthonissen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daron Joseph in the 96th minute of the match. The Zamalek FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zamalek FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
