Thanks to some nice moves Shelton Flanagan could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Hal Mackey however easily saved by the left post. Hal Mackey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cao Shi Yi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Shelton Flanagans short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Hal Mackey to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 42 minutes, Emmanuel Corley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Western Springs FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmanuel Corley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 played minutes Western Springs FC got a freekick which was hit by Lionel Egan. Shelton Flanagan scored 3-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hal Mackey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Western Springs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cao Shi Yi came free, but Hal Mackey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cao Shi Yi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hal Mackey having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Western Springs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Shelton Flanagan came free, but Hal Mackey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hal Mackey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shelton Flanagan in the 88th minute of the match. Wilbert Hatfield lost his temper 89 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Western Springs FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Team FC:s goal. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for The Team FC. Shelton Flanagan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hal Mackey. 6-0. Western Springs FC's Hal Mackey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavin Singleton in the 100th minute of play.
