Iurie Dășanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel Egan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hal Mackey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascal Hayden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 played minutes Western Springs FC got a freekick which was hit by Frankie Russell. Santo Gore hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Nigel Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lionel Egan struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Iurie Dășanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Western Springs FC. Hal Mackey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremiah Jeffries in the 17th minute of the match. Western Springs FC's Hal Mackey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascal Hayden in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the Western Springs FC defense, Jeremiah Jeffries kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hal Mackey. The Western Springs FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hal Mackey should have stopped the shot. Hal Mackey came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by þînk þ£st ƒç's Nigel Cordero. But to his dismay, Nigel Cordero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 32nd minute, Pascal Hayden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Western Springs FC's Iurie Dășanu threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Garrett Brock, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hal Mackey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Hayden in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Colby Saucedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Western Springs FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave þînk þ£st ƒç the free kick. Colby Saucedo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Western Springs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nigel Cordero came free, but Hal Mackey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half þînk þ£st ƒç were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nigel Cordero to make the kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Pascal Hayden from a close distance when the talented Hal Mackey managed to make a qualified save. Western Springs FC's players were relieved. Iurie Dășanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel Egan in the 56th minute of the match. Pascal Hayden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Hal Mackey made a huge save. If Frankie Russell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hal Mackey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremiah Jeffries in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nigel Cordero in the 76th minute of play forced Western Springs FC's goalkeeper Hal Mackey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Garrett Brock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Dășanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Western Springs FC's Hal Mackey got control of the ball when Pascal Hayden tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th match minute, þînk þ£st ƒç was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnson Adair to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, þînk þ£st ƒç's Jeremiah Jeffries sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hal Mackey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascal Hayden got free with Hal Mackey in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Western Springs FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. þînk þ£st ƒç were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
