In the 18th minute of the match Eric Snowden shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jude Crocker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Farid Mondragón, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Saverio Vistruario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Gines in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Farid Mondragón prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sid Chadwick in the 27th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Jude Crocker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Ladislao Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creekers's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Gines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Farid Mondragón breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Farid Mondragón was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Ladislao Gines capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ladislao Gines really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Independiente's Erberk Müftüoğlu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jude Crocker came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Sidney Forbes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Jude Crocker skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 71 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Trotter came free, but Farid Mondragón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, C. A. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kerry Sellers got free with Jude Crocker in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C. A. Independiente's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
