When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Sidney Forbes sped through Racing Miami Futbol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jarrod Leary. Tomas Gustafson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. C. A. Independiente had played much better football throughout.
