Arvin Hökkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silva in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes American Airlines's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Glen Conklin who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Tony Pacheco to score against Arvin Hökkvist in American Airlines's goal. 0-1 after 6 minutes. In the 10th minute, Edgardo Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arvin Hökkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 14th minute, Edgardo Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 21 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arvin Hökkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 21 minutes of play, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arvin Hökkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anoush Khalatbari in the 23rd minute of play. The corner ended in Gabriel Rossi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas did a great save. In the 29th match minute, American Airlines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbin De Brouwer to maneuver through the defense. New England Minas's Glen Conklin got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Edgardo Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arvin Hökkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 36 minutes into the match, Edgardo Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arvin Hökkvist. American Airlines's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. New England Minas's Lalo Rosas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jed Jewell, made in the 41st minute of the game. 42 minutes into the game, one of New England Minas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. New England Minas:s Jeremy Nicholas showed great skill when he stopped Darnell Metcalf:s penalty. With a little luck, New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas got control of the ball when Anoush Khalatbari tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

American Airlines made a substitution. Carlo Trujillo replaced Gabriel Rossi. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Silva was the one to do the kick off. Tony Pacheco scored 0-7 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arvin Hökkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute, New England Minas's Tony Pacheco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arvin Hökkvist. Arvin Hökkvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. New England Minas's Tio Lio was substituted for Alperen Öksüz. New England Minas made a substitution. Emmitt Benson replaced Conny Tingberg. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darnell Metcalf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by American Airlines's Darnell Metcalf. But to his dismay, Darnell Metcalf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. Edgardo Silva succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-9. American Airlines made a substitution. Lyuben Karavelov replaced Fabio Cannata. In the 70th match minute, New England Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmitt Benson to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Nobel came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremy Nicholas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anoush Khalatbari went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-9 was the resulting score. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anoush Khalatbari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arvin Hökkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Tony Pacheco made a precise shot to the right of Arvin Hökkvist. American Airlines's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-10. New England Minas's Arturo Sito was substituted for Edgardo Silva. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darnell Metcalf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anoush Khalatbari in the 96th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. New England Minas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
