Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Silva in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Silva. In the 5th minute, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Jospeh McNally was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. The supporters of Brooklyn SC booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Frohm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jospeh McNally made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silva in the 16th minute of play. Brooklyn SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Augustin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Jospeh McNally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Augustin in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Augustin got free with Jeremy Nicholas in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Jospeh McNally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Pacheco's late challenge caught a Brooklyn SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tony Pacheco helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Brooklyn SC booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Augustin made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Augustin in the 55th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jospeh McNally made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silva in the 56th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Edgardo Silva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jospeh McNally. The goal made the score 1-1. Jospeh McNally showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brooklyn SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Glen Conklin was slow to take the kick. During this time New England Minas's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tio Lio got free with Jospeh McNally in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tio Lio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Jospeh McNally made a huge save. Jospeh McNally made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tio Lio in the 89th minute of play. After 91 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Tony Pacheco. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Jospeh McNally successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 94th minute of the match, Arturo Sito tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jospeh McNally saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The New England Minas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
