In the 41st minute, Ladislao Gines left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Creekers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Olchawa in the 44th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Jude Crocker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Truman Harrington proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save PALMEIRAS-UTAH from getting a goal against them. After 46 played minutes PALMEIRAS-UTAH got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Pirani. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Riley Trotter to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominik Olchawa couldn't finish the play. Jorge Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Truman Harrington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riley Trotter in the 90th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Jorge Pirani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uku Karju during the 98th minute. Creekers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
