Trenton Long in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baykan Erincer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 8 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Correia came free, but Jospeh McNally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garth Burrell in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jospeh McNally saved Brooklyn SC from getting behind. In the 13th minute Trenton Long shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baykan Erincer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Kazimierz Traczewski sped through Brooklyn SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jospeh McNally. 19 minutes into the match, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Beard came free, but Baykan Erincer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliot Whitley to maneuver through the defense. Jospeh McNally made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Burrell in the 24th minute of play. The DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kazimierz Traczewski made the kick off in the second half. Baykan Erincer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trenton Long, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Garth Burrell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Jospeh McNally made a huge save. In the 54th minute Kazimierz Traczewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jospeh McNally saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jospeh McNally made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garth Burrell in the 60th minute. Trenton Long might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baykan Erincer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trenton Long ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Kazimierz Traczewski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jospeh McNally. Jospeh McNally yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO made a substitution. Joey Tribbiani replaced Akakios Kountouratzis. Rod West was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 73 played minutes Brooklyn SC got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Ramos. Jospeh McNally made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Renato Correia in the 75th minute. Baykan Erincer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Baykan Erincer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Millan in the 93rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Dwight Schrute managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brooklyn SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dwight Schrute was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baykan Erincer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
