The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of New England Minas booed when PALMEIRAS-UTAH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Truman Harrington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute of the match, Aloísio Lima got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jeremy Nicholas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Truman Harrington was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 25 minutes, Edgardo Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New England Minas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloísio Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 27th play minutes Japke de Boer shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Jeremy Nicholas and just under the crossbar into goal. After 33 minutes of play, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Truman Harrington was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Japke de Boer came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Truman Harrington narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 41 minutes of play, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Truman Harrington was left in no man's land by his defense there! Truman Harrington didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgardo Silva went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Bailey Kerns was substituted for Aloísio Lima. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Truman Harrington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Edgardo Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Edgardo Silva scored 1-7 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Truman Harrington, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. New England Minas made a substitution. Tio Lio replaced Alperen Öksüz. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bailey Kerns, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Bailey Kerns cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-7. Jeremy Nicholas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute of the match, Tio Lio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Truman Harrington was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 97 minutes, Luis Livingston mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PALMEIRAS-UTAH and the New England Minas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to PALMEIRAS-UTAH getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Luis Livingston hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. New England Minas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
