Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trey Echols, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chance Adams in the 79th minute of play. Anton Swanson kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Racing Miami Futbol Club defense, Emmitt Benson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarrod Leary. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarrod Leary should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute, Sol Bartlett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Racing Miami Futbol Club defense, Tio Lio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarrod Leary. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarrod Leary should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. New England Minas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
