An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesario Irazu in the 3rd minute of play forced PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goalkeeper Truman Harrington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Truman Harrington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Montenegro in the 9th minute of play. C. A. Pipon Pipon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Al Whatley in the 11th minute. 18 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Montenegro came free, but Truman Harrington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jannes Ruttens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Eugen, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Luis Livingston got a free kick in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Jorge Pirani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jannes Ruttens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Alexandru Eugen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jannes Ruttens. C. A. Pipon Pipon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandru Eugen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 38 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Eugen came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jannes Ruttens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Eugen, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Truman Harrington proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save PALMEIRAS-UTAH from getting a goal against them. Cesario Irazu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Truman Harrington made a huge save. Truman Harrington was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Cesario Irazu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cesario Irazu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Jannes Ruttens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Eugen in the 44th minute of play. Jannes Ruttens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandru Eugen's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute, Nicky Bryson made a precise shot to the right of Truman Harrington. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Leonardo Frazier was substituted for Reyes Boyle. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Pepe Rompel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Truman Harrington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bailey Kerns in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jannes Ruttens, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Pipon Pipon from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute of the match C. A. Pipon Pipon got a corner. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Al Whatley ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led C. A. Pipon Pipon's Al Whatley to fire away a dangerous shot which Truman Harrington despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Cesario Irazu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Truman Harrington was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Truman Harrington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Montenegro in the 70th minute of play. Dominik Olchawa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jannes Ruttens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bailey Kerns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bailey Kerns in the 78th minute. After taking down the ball on PALMEIRAS-UTAH's corner Bailey Kerns fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jannes Ruttens quite easily take care of the ball. With his leg Jannes Ruttens managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Dominik Olchawa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Truman Harrington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesario Irazu, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Truman Harrington didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicky Bryson went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. C. A. Pipon Pipon made a substitution. Malcolm McIntosh replaced Beto Montenegro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Olchawa in the 89th minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jannes Ruttens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bailey Kerns in the 91st minute. Jannes Ruttens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Olchawa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the PALMEIRAS-UTAH players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C. A.
