The Creekers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jude Crocker should have stopped the shot. In the 13th match minute, Creekers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylvesteri Valkama to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Ladislao Gines ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arvin Hökkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. American Airlines's Arvin Hökkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Gines in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Robbin De Brouwer threw the ball into play from the sideline. Creekers's Leevi Kampman quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in American Airlines's zone, Riley Trotter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvin Hökkvist came out of the goal and Riley Trotter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Ladislao Gines who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but American Airlines's Arvin Hökkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Creekers's Jude Crocker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin 雷震南 in the 39th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Jude Crocker successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 41st minute Ladislao Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Hökkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arvin Hökkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ladislao Gines went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anoush Khalatbari to make the kick off. Darnell Metcalf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Creekers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
