After a defensive mix-up in Lengua FC's zone, Ravi Minshall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerren Panday came out of the goal and Ravi Minshall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kareem Hypolite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Raymond Lyons in the 23rd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Henry Patterson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hindustan Falcons's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lengua FC the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Hindustan Falcons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Patterson to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Raymond Lyons took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kareem Hypolite. Kareem Hypolite dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jerren Panday made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ravi Minshall in the 29th minute of play. Nigel Lassalle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kareem Hypolite having to make a save. Chris Baksh hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Nigel Lassalle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kareem Hypolite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Kareem Hypolite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Raymond Lyons, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ravi Minshall was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, George Maxwell Moreau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lengua FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hindustan Falcons the free kick. Jerren Panday didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dansam Adams went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the match, Lengua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ravi Minshall came free, but Jerren Panday reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Maxwell Moreau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Kareem Hypolite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Arthur Raymond Lyons's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kareem Hypolite was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After 70 minutes, Rodney James mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lengua FC and the Hindustan Falcons players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Lancelot Toussaint fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hindustan Falcons's protests and gave Lancelot Toussaint a yellow card for diving instead. Jason Lawrence charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. George Maxwell Moreau kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Lengua FC's goalkeeper Jerren Panday had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dansam Adams. Nigel Lassalle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 99th minute, Arthur Raymond Lyons got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hindustan Falcons players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lengua FC.
