The tension between the Hindustan Falcons and the Piarco Falcons players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hindustan Falcons's Ronald Ayoung-Chee got a free kick in the 6th minute. After some careless play in the Hindustan Falcons defense, Lewis Andrew Cipriani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kareem Hypolite. The Hindustan Falcons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kareem Hypolite should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute, Jason Lawrence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jason Lawrence hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roaring Denoon in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kareem Hypolite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hindustan Falcons's Kareem Hypolite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roaring Denoon in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lewis Andrew Cipriani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kareem Hypolite was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 27th minute of the game, Wahid Toussaint landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 27 minutes into the game, Jason Lawrence was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hindustan Falcons's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piarco Falcons the free kick. In the 28th minute, Jason Lawrence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rudolph Ramdial might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kareem Hypolite. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rudolph Ramdial ran back to his position shaking his head. When Surujrattan Le Hunte fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piarco Falcons's protests and gave Surujrattan Le Hunte a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hindustan Falcons booed when Piarco Falcons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Surujrattan Le Hunte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wintley Simmons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ravi Minshall in the 40th minute of play. Rudolph Ramdial sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Hindustan Falcons's Uriah Bisson got a free kick in the 46th minute. During the 47th minute of the match Surujrattan Le Hunte completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Surujrattan Le Hunte a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Surujrattan Le Hunte hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roaring Denoon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wintley Simmons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dansam Adams in the 56th minute of play. Piarco Falcons's Rudolph Ramdial got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dansam Adams in the 68th minute of play forced Piarco Falcons's goalkeeper Wintley Simmons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roaring Denoon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ravi Minshall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dansam Adams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wintley Simmons having to interfere. If Rudolph Ramdial had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hindustan Falcons's Dansam Adams got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wintley Simmons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ravi Minshall, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Rudolph Ramdial recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90thth minute of the game Ravi Minshall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piarco Falcons's Wintley Simmons was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ravi Minshall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Roaring Denoon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolph Ramdial struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Kareem Hypolite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piarco Falcons.
