In the 12th match minute, Piarco Falcons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Black Logie to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deryck Smith in the 14th minute of play forced Piarco Falcons's goalkeeper Wintley Simmons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lewis Andrew Cipriani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerald Ramjohn-Richards having to interfere. After some careless play in the Piarco Falcons defense, Raffique Rampaul kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wintley Simmons. The Piarco Falcons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wintley Simmons should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute of the match, Sonny Rodriguez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gerald Ramjohn-Richards was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 25 minutes into the game, Arthur Raymond Dorman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Williamsville SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piarco Falcons the free kick. In the 25th minute, Arthur Raymond Dorman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lewis Andrew Cipriani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Piarco Falcons's Roaring Denoon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wahid Toussaint during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Piarco Falcons's Wahid Toussaint got a free kick in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Piarco Falcons's zone, Deryck Smith stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wintley Simmons came out of the goal and Deryck Smith tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wintley Simmons stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raffique Rampaul's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Williamsville SC's Gerald Ramjohn-Richards played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roaring Denoon in the 53rd minute of play. If Roaring Denoon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerald Ramjohn-Richards made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Andrew Cipriani in the 57th minute of play. A hard shot 60 in the game by Raffique Rampaul from a close distance when the talented Wintley Simmons managed to make a qualified save. Piarco Falcons's players were relieved. After 63 played minutes Williamsville SC got a freekick which was hit by Marlene Selvon. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Williamsville SC's goalkeeper Gerald Ramjohn-Richards, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raffique Rampaul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lewis Andrew Cipriani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Williamsville SC got a freekick which was hit by Ken Bissoondath. 78 minutes into the game, Francis Peltier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Williamsville SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piarco Falcons the free kick. The supporters of Piarco Falcons booed when Williamsville SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francis Peltier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Williamsville SC's zone, Black Logie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerald Ramjohn-Richards came out of the goal and Black Logie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 81 minutes of play Williamsville SC's Marlene Selvon was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Williamsville SC's Marlene Selvon got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Roaring Denoon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piarco Falcons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Jean Stalin charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean Stalin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jean Stalin hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. A collision led to Williamsville SC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Arthur Raymond Dorman hit a great ball. Lewis Andrew Cipriani might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerald Ramjohn-Richards. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lewis Andrew Cipriani ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bhadase McFarlane during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Piarco Falcons! Francis Peltier walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.
