The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jlloyd Dymally's late challenge caught a Moruga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Ronnie Gooljar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mike Tyson came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Moruga's Kevaughn Wolfe. But to his dismay, Kevaughn Wolfe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 11th minute Glenroy Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Tyson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sundar Montano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Collin Griffith, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Moruga's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nalini Hyland fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Carl Rudder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
