Spectators: 6961 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1961, VIP seats: 0) Winchester United's Josh Latapy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marlon Tully took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gillian Mark. Gillian Mark dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Seon Anwar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Josh Latapy notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Otaheite's Gillian Mark. Gillian Mark was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Josh Latapy struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Gillian Mark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winchester United. After 24 minutes of play, Winchester United's Bird Diamond made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gillian Mark was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jason Pierre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th match minute, Otaheite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenwyne Patterson to maneuver through the defense. Marlon Tully received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gillian Mark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josh Latapy took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gillian Mark. Gillian Mark dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After the first half Winchester United were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jlloyd Tanker to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Josh Latapy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Winchester United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. A collision led to Otaheite getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. James Rafeeq hit a great ball. Marlon Tully was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Winchester United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Otaheite's Sugar Beckles got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Hector Ames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Josh Latapy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gillian Mark was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Zikoranachukwudimma von Buol-Schaudenstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenwyne Patterson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zikoranachukwudimma von Buol-Schaudenstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenwyne Patterson in the 73rd minute of play. Gillian Mark made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Josh Latapy sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the game, Marlon Tully cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Gillian Mark was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marlon Tully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Winchester United's Marlon Tully sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gillian Mark narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marlon Tully's late challenge caught a Otaheite's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marlon Tully helped the player get up and apologised. Marlon Tully kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Jlloyd Tanker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zikoranachukwudimma von Buol-Schaudenstein. Winchester United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jlloyd Tanker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-7. When the match was over Winchester United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Otaheite throughout the match.
