Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Neeshan Stalin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Danny Chanté made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trent Plummer in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to CRIPS getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Gerald Hill hit a great ball. Trent Plummer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, CRIPS's Adesh Charles got control of the ball when Devant Best tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Neeshan Stalin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Point Lisas's Danny Chanté was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Darcus Ramdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Adesh Charles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darcus Ramdin in the 38th minute of play forced CRIPS's goalkeeper Adesh Charles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neeshan Stalin struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Danny Chanté didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CRIPS. Neeshan Stalin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Danny Chanté tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darcus Ramdin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Glenn Tinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Neeshan Stalin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trent Plummers short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Danny Chanté to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Neeshan Stalin took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Danny Chanté to make any attempt to save it. 60 minutes into the match, Point Lisas's goal looked a bit too open when Neeshan Stalin came free, but Danny Chanté reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of CRIPS booed when Point Lisas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaiah James Baptiste didn't get a good kick on the ball. CRIPS's Neeshan Stalin got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to CRIPS getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Mojah Bonair-Agard hit a great ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Devant Best managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Point Lisas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Devant Best was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 72 minutes, Neeshan Stalin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a rather tough play, Point Lisas's Rakesh Swaratsingh got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Point Lisas's goalkeeper Danny Chanté, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Danny Chanté made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Trent Plummer sent off a good shot on target. The Point Lisas support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
