Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cornelius Asher took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute of the match, Cornelius Asher tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gerald Solomon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornelius Asher in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerald Solomon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Cornelius Asher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Glenroy Kenny kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Digo DareDevils's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Cornelius Asher scored to the left of an out of position Gerald Solomon, making the score, 1-0. After 22 played minutes Digo DareDevils got a freekick which was hit by Bertie Commissiong. Cornelius Asher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerald Solomon having to interfere. Cornelius Asher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Gerald Solomon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Rampersad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerald Solomon having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Bertie Commissiong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Digo DareDevils fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 37 minutes into the game, Edgar Rampersad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brighton Stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Digo DareDevils the free kick. A collision led to Brighton Stars getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Edgar Rampersad hit a great ball. Brighton Stars's Dominic Jorsling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lester Rahman in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Digo DareDevils's zone, Cornelius Asher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerald Solomon came out of the goal and Cornelius Asher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dominic Jorsling came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Digo DareDevils's Patrice McBurnie. But to his dismay, Patrice McBurnie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Brighton Stars players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Digo DareDevils were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lester Rahman was the one to do the kick off. Cornelius Asher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cornelius Asher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gerald Solomon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominic Jorsling didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Lester Rahman struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Dominic Jorsling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Digo DareDevils. Brighton Stars's Cornelius Asher got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bertie Commissiong's late challenge caught a Brighton Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertie Commissiong helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Digo DareDevils's Bertie Commissiong got a free kick in the 74th minute. Brighton Stars's Edgar Rampersad managed to work through Digo DareDevils's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Edgar Rampersad dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Cornelius Asher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gerald Solomon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Brighton Stars's goalkeeper Dominic Jorsling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrice McBurnie. Cornelius Asher succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-4. Digo DareDevils's Gerald Solomon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Rampersad in the 88th minute of play. Edgar Rampersad struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Gerald Solomon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brighton Stars. The Brighton Stars manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Digo DareDevils to win.
