Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Darcus Ramdin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Bon Accord Strikers defense, Devant Best kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ansil Gomes. The Bon Accord Strikers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ansil Gomes should have stopped the shot. In the 6th minute, David Ojah-Maharaj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darcus Ramdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ansil Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Devant Best might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ansil Gomes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Devant Best ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darcus Ramdin in the 15th minute of play forced Bon Accord Strikers's goalkeeper Ansil Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Point Lisas's Darcus Ramdin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ansil Gomes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Darcus Ramdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ansil Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devant Best, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Devant Best in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ansil Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Darcus Ramdin came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Point Lisas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darcus Ramdin couldn't finish the play. Darcus Ramdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ansil Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Darcus Ramdin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Point Lisas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darcus Ramdin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Devant Best made a precise shot to the right of Ansil Gomes. Bon Accord Strikers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The supporters of Point Lisas booed when Bon Accord Strikers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Ojah-Maharaj didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darcus Ramdin might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ansil Gomes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darcus Ramdin ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Lennox Joseph made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Lennox Joseph managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bon Accord Strikers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lennox Joseph was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lennox Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Devant Best got free with Ansil Gomes in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bon Accord Strikers's Dwayne Hamel-Smith got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bon Accord Strikers's Lennox Joseph got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Dwayne Hamel-Smith cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Danny Chanté was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dwayne Hamel-Smith in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danny Chanté saved Point Lisas from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennox Joseph in the 81st minute of play forced Point Lisas's goalkeeper Danny Chanté to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dwayne Hamel-Smith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lennox Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dwayne Hamel-Smith took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danny Chanté. Danny Chanté dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. If Devant Best had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Point Lisas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bon Accord Strikers throughout the match.
