Adesh Charles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephen Thompson in the 5th minute of play. In the 6thth minute of the game Stephen Thompson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CRIPS's Adesh Charles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th minute Stephen Thompson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adesh Charles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Orange Valley Fire getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Occah Daaga hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, CRIPS's Rudolph Barath broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind CRIPS's goalkeeper Adesh Charles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to CRIPS getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Rudolph Barath hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match Billy Sonny Ladoo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adesh Charles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When CRIPS's Trent Plummer, in the 23rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for CRIPS. Basdeo Mohammed made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Trent Plummer sent off a good shot on target. Trent Plummer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basdeo Mohammed having to interfere. The supporters of CRIPS booed when Orange Valley Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Ince didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adesh Charles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephen Thompson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Thompson in the 46th minute of play forced CRIPS's goalkeeper Adesh Charles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stephen Thompson made a kick off. CRIPS's Adesh Charles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephen Thompson in the 51st minute of play. If Stephen Thompson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Glenn Surendra fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CRIPS's protests and gave Glenn Surendra a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CRIPS's Glenn Surendra got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Lewis Baldeosingh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Billy Sonny Ladoo fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Orange Valley Fire's Basdeo Mohammed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trent Plummer in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Lewis Baldeosingh got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 86th minute, Stephen Thompson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stephen Thompson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adesh Charles having to interfere. CRIPS's Adesh Charles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save CRIPS from getting a goal against them. Trevor Assoon kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
