An unexpectedly hard shot by Devant Uriah Butler in the 4th minute of play forced Brighton Stars's goalkeeper Dominic Jorsling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Devant Uriah Butler charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Devant Uriah Butler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Longdenville Falcons getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Devant Uriah Butler hit a great ball. Edgar Rampersad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Scott Johnson having to make a save. Alfred Ramsahai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dominic Jorsling made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Nyron Baldeosingh sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Longdenville Falcons's Devant Uriah Butler ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dominic Jorsling. Dominic Jorsling yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Dominic Jorsling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devant Uriah Butler, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cornelius Asher was the one to do the kick off. Edgar Rampersad struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Scott Johnson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brighton Stars. Edgar Rampersad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cornelius Asher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The tension between the Brighton Stars and the Longdenville Falcons players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64thth minute of the game Devant Uriah Butler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brighton Stars's Dominic Jorsling was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cornelius Asher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Scott Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Devant Uriah Butler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Brighton Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Ramsahai came free, but Dominic Jorsling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Devant Uriah Butler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Jorsling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute of the match Julian Harris shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Scott Johnson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Brighton Stars's Dominic Jorsling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devant Uriah Butler in the 81st minute of play. Alfred Ramsahai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dominic Jorsling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominic Jorsling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Ramsahai in the 85th minute of play. Edgar Rampersad struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Scott Johnson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brighton Stars. Dominic Jorsling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devant Uriah Butler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Devant Uriah Butler was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. Devant Uriah Butler kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Cornelius Asher recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Scott Johnson. Cornelius Asher showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
