Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Brighton Stars's Cornelius Asher started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dominic Jorsling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trent Plummer's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute Trent Plummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Jorsling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CRIPS's Adesh Charles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save CRIPS from getting a goal against them. CRIPS's Adesh Charles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelius Asher in the 19th minute of play. James Browne charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed James Browne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Brighton Stars got a freekick which was hit by James Browne. Trent Plummer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Jorsling having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Edgar Rampersad recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adesh Charles. Edgar Rampersad showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Neeshan Stalin fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CRIPS's protests and gave Neeshan Stalin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Neeshan Stalin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A well placed Cornelius Asher short distance shot in the 32nd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. After 36 minutes of play, CRIPS's Neeshan Stalin made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dominic Jorsling was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neeshan Stalin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Arthur Hussein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Neeshan Stalin made the kick off in the second half. Dominic Jorsling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trent Plummer in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neeshan Stalin in the 68th minute of play forced Brighton Stars's goalkeeper Dominic Jorsling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Fuad Moloney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Mojah Bonair-Agard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Jean Tinto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CRIPS's Adesh Charles didn't even have to move. After 78 played minutes Brighton Stars got a freekick which was hit by Keyeno Mottley. Trent Plummer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Neeshan Stalin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of CRIPS's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. CRIPS may have spent more time on the ball, but Brighton Stars were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
