After having played for 11 minutes, Darcus Ramdin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Point Lisas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darcus Ramdin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Darcus Ramdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Beetham having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roderick Ogunbanke during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Navet got a freekick which was hit by Roderick Ogunbanke. Danny Chanté showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaiah Sammy in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darcus Ramdin in the 29th minute of play forced Navet's goalkeeper Francis Beetham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darcus Ramdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Beetham having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Danny Roberts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darcus Ramdin was the one to do the kick off. Point Lisas's Danny Chanté proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Point Lisas from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Navet getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Danny Roberts hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Darcus Ramdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Beetham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francis Beetham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Devant Best's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Navet's goal looked a bit too open when Darcus Ramdin came free, but Francis Beetham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaiah Sammy might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danny Chanté. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaiah Sammy ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Navet booed when Point Lisas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glenn Tinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Isaiah Sammy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devant Best in the 85th minute of play forced Navet's goalkeeper Francis Beetham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Point Lisas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Navet for a fine match.
