The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot 3 in the game by Tishan MacDonald from a close distance when the talented Ansil Gomes managed to make a qualified save. Bon Accord Strikers's players were relieved. Anthony Rougier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ansil Gomes having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Anthony Rougier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mohammedville Falcons's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthony Rougier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ansil Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mohammedville Falcons booed when Bon Accord Strikers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennox Joseph didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tishan MacDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ansil Gomes having to interfere. Anthony Rougier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ansil Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Tishan MacDonald got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bon Accord Strikers's zone, Anthony Rougier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ansil Gomes came out of the goal and Anthony Rougier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tishan MacDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ansil Gomes having to interfere. Anthony Rougier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tishan MacDonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ansil Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tishan MacDonald succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 39th playminute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lennox Joseph made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Tishan MacDonald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ansil Gomes was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. When Tishan MacDonald came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Mohammedville Falcons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tishan MacDonald couldn't finish the play. Tishan MacDonald scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ansil Gomes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dwayne Hamel-Smith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anthony Rougier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ansil Gomes having to interfere. If Tishan MacDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Anthony Rougier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ansil Gomes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Rougier in the 84th minute of play forced Bon Accord Strikers's goalkeeper Ansil Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Nizar Adams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ansil Gomes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anthony Rougier's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Anthony Rougier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ansil Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tishan MacDonald in the 95th minute of play. Mohammedville Falcons walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
