Spectators: 9201 (Terracing: 6902, Seating: 2116, VIP seats: 183) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wes Corneal got the match started through his kick off. Seepersad Prospect's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charles Brown read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raffique Hussein during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 played minutes Titan FC got a freekick which was hit by Raffique Hussein. In the 9th minute of the match Jean Tinto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Charles Brown showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wes Corneal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Titan FC's Wes Corneal in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brighton Stars's goalie prevented a goal. Sterling Chancellor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Brighton Stars's Cornelius Asher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles Brown made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dominic Jorsling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sterling Chancellor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kareem Byron fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brighton Stars's protests and gave Kareem Byron a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Brighton Stars got a freekick which was hit by Kareem Byron. Julius Belfon struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Dominic Jorsling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Titan FC. Wes Corneals short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Dominic Jorsling to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Titan FC's Wes Corneal in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brighton Stars's goalie prevented a goal. If Julius Belfon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Julian Harris fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brighton Stars's protests and gave Julian Harris a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Titan FC booed when Brighton Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Harris didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Brighton Stars's goalkeeper Dominic Jorsling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manny Sealy. After the first half Brighton Stars were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Wes Corneal in the 52nd minute of play forced Brighton Stars's goalkeeper Dominic Jorsling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Mohammed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Seepersad Prospect hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julius Belfon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Jorsling having to interfere. If Wes Corneal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wes Corneal in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominic Jorsling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Sterling Chancellor came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Titan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sterling Chancellor couldn't finish the play. If Wes Corneal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sterling Chancellor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Wes Corneal came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Titan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wes Corneal couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute Sterling Chancellor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Jorsling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wes Corneal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wes Corneal might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dominic Jorsling. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wes Corneal ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wes Corneal in the 87th minute of play forced Brighton Stars's goalkeeper Dominic Jorsling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wes Corneal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brighton Stars's Kareem Byron got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Kareem Byron off the ground. In the 91st minute, Kareem Byron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Titan FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
