Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lennox Joseph kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Lennox Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Beetham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute Isaiah Sammy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ansil Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Navet's goal looked a bit too open when Lennox Joseph came free, but Francis Beetham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Danny Roberts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Navet's supporters rose to their feet, but Danny Roberts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ansil Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the match, Navet's goalkeeper Francis Beetham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dwayne Hamel-Smith. Bon Accord Strikers's Ansil Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Roberts in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match, Dwayne Hamel-Smith got a very nice opportunity to score, but Francis Beetham was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Bon Accord Strikers's zone, Isaiah Sammy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ansil Gomes came out of the goal and Isaiah Sammy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Roberts in the 32nd minute of play forced Bon Accord Strikers's goalkeeper Ansil Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Navet got a freekick which was hit by Jason Springer. Bon Accord Strikers's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 38th minute of the game, when Oliver Ince after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Navet's goal. Oliver Ince was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Navet's Francis Beetham proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Navet from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Navet's Oliver Mohan got a free kick in the 40th minute. Francis Beetham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennox Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes, Sugar Duke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Navet and the Bon Accord Strikers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Navet's Sugar Duke got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Navet's Francis Beetham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennox Joseph in the 45th minute of play. Dwayne Hamel-Smith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oliver Mohan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danny Roberts to strike the kick off in the second half. Dwayne Hamel-Smith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dwayne Hamel-Smith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Beetham having to interfere. If Dwayne Hamel-Smith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bon Accord Strikers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 74 minutes, Navet's Jerren Bravo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ansil Gomes. Dwayne Hamel-Smith might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francis Beetham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dwayne Hamel-Smith ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute Dwayne Hamel-Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Beetham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Navet's goalkeeper Francis Beetham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Bon Accord Strikers booed when Navet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Browne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bon Accord Strikers were awarded a corner in the 101th minute after Navet's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oliver Ince took the corner. Bon Accord Strikers's Oliver Ince was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Francis Beetham in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Navet's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
