The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lester Rahman in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ansil Gomes saved Bon Accord Strikers from getting behind. If Lennox Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Dwayne Hamel-Smith left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bon Accord Strikers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 19th match minute, Bon Accord Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennox Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Patrice McBurnie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ansil Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrice McBurnie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lennox Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerald Solomon having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Digo DareDevils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glenroy Kenny to maneuver through the defense. Oliver Ince took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gerald Solomon. Digo DareDevils's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lester Rahman in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ansil Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Dwayne Hamel-Smith managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bon Accord Strikers's supporters rose to their feet, but Dwayne Hamel-Smith was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerald Solomon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennox Joseph in the 40th minute of play forced Digo DareDevils's goalkeeper Gerald Solomon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerald Solomon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennox Joseph, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Digo DareDevils players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bon Accord Strikers were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lester Rahman to strike the kick off in the second half. Ansil Gomes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lester Rahman went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Lester Rahman put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ansil Gomes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennox Joseph in the 64th minute of play forced Digo DareDevils's goalkeeper Gerald Solomon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertie Commissiong struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Ansil Gomes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Digo DareDevils. Lester Rahman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Bon Accord Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Patrice McBurnie came free, but Ansil Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lennox Joseph during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Digo DareDevils's Gerald Solomon got control of the ball when Dwayne Hamel-Smith tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ansil Gomes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lester Rahman went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 91st match minute, Digo DareDevils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrice McBurnie to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Digo DareDevils's Patrice McBurnie fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal, but it hit the crossbar and went out into the crowd. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bon Accord Strikers's goalkeeper Ansil Gomes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ansil Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrice McBurnie in the 95th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bon Accord Strikers's zone, Patrice McBurnie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ansil Gomes came out of the goal and Patrice McBurnie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Digo DareDevils's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
