The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gillian Ganga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Baldeosingh having to interfere. The supporters of La Trinitense Mecánica booed when Chase Village was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devon Carter didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes La Trinitense Mecánica got a freekick which was hit by Mortimer Armitage. Hubert Gomes didn't quite understand what happened when in the 27 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Trinitense Mecánica's goalkeeper Robert Baldeosingh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gillian Ganga in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Baldeosingh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gillian Ganga in the 35th minute of play forced La Trinitense Mecánica's goalkeeper Robert Baldeosingh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, La Trinitense Mecánica's Bird Garcia got a free kick in the 35th minute. Robert Baldeosingh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gillian Ganga's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Chase Village's Gary Dan got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to La Trinitense Mecánica getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Tubal Power hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Gillian Ganga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Baldeosingh was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 47th minute, Gillian Ganga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gillian Ganga to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Gary Dan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Robert Baldeosingh. Gary Dan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Robert Baldeosingh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gillian Ganga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, La Trinitense Mecánica's Robert Baldeosingh got control of the ball when Gary Dan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, La Trinitense Mecánica's goal looked a bit too open when Gillian Ganga came free, but Robert Baldeosingh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gary Dan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Baldeosingh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gillian Ganga in the 63rd minute of the match. If Gillian Ganga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Trinitense Mecánica's Robert Baldeosingh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save La Trinitense Mecánica from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute, Gillian Ganga made a precise shot to the right of Robert Baldeosingh. La Trinitense Mecánica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Robert Baldeosingh made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Gary Dan sent off a good shot on target. After 75 played minutes Gillian Ganga could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-3 into the left cross. Robert Baldeosingh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gillian Ganga went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gary Dan got free with Robert Baldeosingh in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 84 minutes, Bird Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Trinitense Mecánica and the Chase Village players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, La Trinitense Mecánica's Bird Garcia got a free kick in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the match, La Trinitense Mecánica's goalkeeper Robert Baldeosingh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gary Dan. Daren David took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Winston Ramnath, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Chase Village left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Trinitense Mecánica.
