After having played for 5 minutes, Ernani Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Punta Pigeon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernani Bueno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernani Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Daren David tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Punta Pigeon getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Darryl Glen hit a great ball. Daren David stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernani Bueno's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Punta Pigeon's goal looked a bit too open when Gillian Ganga came free, but Khaleem Abdul-Hamid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernani Bueno had several of the Chase Village's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Daren David as he didn't even see the shot coming. Punta Pigeon's Khaleem Abdul-Hamid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gary Dan in the 26th minute of play. Khaleem Abdul-Hamid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gillian Ganga in the 27th minute of the match. Khaleem Abdul-Hamid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gary Dan in the 35th minute of play. Gary Dan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernani Bueno to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Chase Village's Hubert Gomes got a free kick in the 54th minute. Gary Dan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Punta Pigeon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Gary Dan scored to the left of an out of position Khaleem Abdul-Hamid, making the score, 1-3. 64 minutes into the match, Chase Village's Gillian Ganga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Khaleem Abdul-Hamid narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gary Dan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daren David showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernani Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Gary Dan let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 75th minute shot 1-4 at rihgt post. Gary Dan came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Khaleem Abdul-Hamid could save by the left post. Daren David showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernani Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. A hard shot 91 in the game by Gary Dan from a close distance when the talented Khaleem Abdul-Hamid managed to make a qualified save. Punta Pigeon's players were relieved. Ernani Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daren David having to interfere.
