Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Eckel Village's Jamaal Sinanan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Surujrattan Denoon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eckel Village's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamaal Sinanan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glenroy Edwards breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Jamaal Sinanan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Glenroy Edwards, passed just outside the right post. Jamaal Sinanan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jamaal Sinanan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orange Valley Strikers's Glenroy Edwards played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Permanand St Clair in the 19th minute of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Surujrattan Denoon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eckel Village's Canute Abdul-Hamid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Surujrattan Denoon in the 27th minute of play forced Eckel Village's goalkeeper Canute Abdul-Hamid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Eckel Village's zone, Wes Shepard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Canute Abdul-Hamid came out of the goal and Wes Shepard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Glenroy Edwards came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Eckel Village's Jamaal Sinanan. But to his dismay, Jamaal Sinanan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Canute Abdul-Hamid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Surujrattan Denoon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jamaal Sinanan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glenroy Edwards read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Eckel Village's Jamaal Sinanan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 42nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jamaal Sinanan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glenroy Edwards having to interfere. If Jamaal Sinanan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Surujrattan Denoon to make the kick off. Glenroy Edwards made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamaal Sinanan in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wes Shepard got free with Canute Abdul-Hamid in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Orange Valley Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Jamaal Sinanan came free, but Glenroy Edwards reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Eckel Village's Ato Jabari Jaggernauth got a free kick in the 76th minute. Fuad Denoon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Canute Abdul-Hamid. Eckel Village's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard shot 80 in the game by Surujrattan Denoon from a close distance when the talented Canute Abdul-Hamid managed to make a qualified save. Eckel Village's players were relieved. After 87 played minutes Wes Shepard rounded Eckel Village's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Glenroy Edwards came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Eckel Village's Permanand St Clair. But to his dismay, Permanand St Clair quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After having played for 96 minutes, Jamaal Sinanan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eckel Village's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jamaal Sinanan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th minute, Glenn Winchester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boscoe Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Eckel Village's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
