In the 4th minute Billy Chancellor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Asgarali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes El Dorado got a freekick which was hit by Billy Chancellor. The supporters of El Dorado booed when Inversion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clem Swaratsingh didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th match minute, Inversion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Ramadhin to maneuver through the defense. Anthony Asgarali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mervyn Jagdeosingh in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El Dorado's Charles Thompson got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inversion's goalkeeper Anthony Asgarali, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Mervyn Jagdeosingh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anthony Asgarali was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Jeffrey Selvon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darryl Ramdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manny Voisin, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Charles Thompson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Jeffrey Selvon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darryl Ramdin having to interfere. After 42 minutes of play, Inversion's Manny Voisin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Darryl Ramdin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manny Voisin to make the kick off. A collision led to El Dorado getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Billy Chancellor hit a great ball. Lloyd Hospedales hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Darryl Ramdin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeffrey Selvon went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Inversion's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Billy Chancellor scored to the left of an out of position Anthony Asgarali, making the score, 2-2. Manny Voisin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mervyn Jagdeosingh struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Anthony Asgarali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Dorado. Billy Chancellor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Inversion's zone, Charles Thompson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthony Asgarali came out of the goal and Charles Thompson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darryl Ramdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manny Voisin in the 77th minute of the match. Jeffrey Selvon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darryl Ramdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeffrey Selvon in the 93rd minute of play. Charles Thompson charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles Thompson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Darryl Ramdin came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Inversion's Jeffrey Selvon. But to his dismay, Jeffrey Selvon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3.
