Hannibal Callendar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamaal Sinanan, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Canute Abdul-Hamid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jan-Michael Ramcharan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Canute Abdul-Hamid managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when KIngs of Madrid's Jan-Michael Ramcharan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Jan-Michael Ramcharan managed to get in a good position for a shot. KIngs of Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Michael Ramcharan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Canute Abdul-Hamid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Boscoe Medina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eckel Village fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After having played for 39 minutes, Jan-Michael Ramcharan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KIngs of Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Michael Ramcharan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kevaughn Body received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Canute Abdul-Hamid came out and tried to block the shot, but Kevaughn Body slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Michael Ramcharan to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Michael Ramcharan in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Canute Abdul-Hamid saved Eckel Village from getting behind. Jan-Michael Ramcharan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Eckel Village's zone, Osei Head Son stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Canute Abdul-Hamid came out of the goal and Osei Head Son tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Michael Ramcharan in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Canute Abdul-Hamid saved Eckel Village from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Osei Head Son hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Jamaal Sinanan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannibal Callendar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boscoe Medina got free with Hannibal Callendar in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Canute Abdul-Hamid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Michael Ramcharan's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Chrrstine Rahman kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Jan-Michael Ramcharan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
