Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Billy Chancellor started the match with the kick off. Darryl Ramdin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jamaal Sinanan's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 6th match minute, Eckel Village was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Mootoo to maneuver through the defense. Mervyn Jagdeosingh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Mervyn Jagdeosingh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Canute Abdul-Hamid. Eckel Village's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mervyn Jagdeosingh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mervyn Jagdeosingh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Canute Abdul-Hamid having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Eckel Village got a freekick which was hit by Permanand St Clair. Billy Chancellor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Canute Abdul-Hamid having to interfere. Billy Chancellor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Canute Abdul-Hamid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When El Dorado's Mervyn Jagdeosingh in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eckel Village's goalie prevented a goal. Canute Abdul-Hamid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mervyn Jagdeosingh in the 25th minute of play. If Billy Chancellor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mervyn Jagdeosingh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Canute Abdul-Hamid having to interfere. Canute Abdul-Hamid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mervyn Jagdeosingh in the 35th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boscoe Medina during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Boscoe Medina hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 42 minutes of play, El Dorado's Lloyd Hospedales made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Canute Abdul-Hamid was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eckel Village's goalkeeper Canute Abdul-Hamid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Billy Chancellor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Canute Abdul-Hamid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jamaal Sinanan to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to El Dorado getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Lloyd Hospedales hit a great ball. With his leg Canute Abdul-Hamid managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when El Dorado's Mervyn Jagdeosingh fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Canute Abdul-Hamid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Billy Chancellor's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Canute Abdul-Hamid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Chancellor, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Charles Thompson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Canute Abdul-Hamid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Billy Chancellor in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Canute Abdul-Hamid saved Eckel Village from getting behind. When Eckel Village's Jamaal Sinanan in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Dorado's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in El Dorado's zone, Boscoe Medina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darryl Ramdin came out of the goal and Boscoe Medina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darryl Ramdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamaal Sinanan in the 74th minute of play. Eckel Village's Canute Abdul-Hamid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Chancellor in the 82nd minute of play. Canute Abdul-Hamid made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Mervyn Jagdeosingh sent off a good shot on target. Mervyn Jagdeosingh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Canute Abdul-Hamid having to make a save. When Mervyn Jagdeosingh came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the El Dorado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mervyn Jagdeosingh couldn't finish the play. Mervyn Jagdeosingh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Canute Abdul-Hamid having to interfere. In the 96th minute of the match, Billy Chancellor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Canute Abdul-Hamid saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
