The supporters of El Dorado booed when KIngs of Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osei Head Son didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mervyn Jagdeosingh got free with Hannibal Callendar in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 23 played minutes KIngs of Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Osei Head Son. Hannibal Callendar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Chancellor, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in KIngs of Madrid's zone, Lloyd Hospedales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hannibal Callendar came out of the goal and Lloyd Hospedales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KIngs of Madrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mervyn Jagdeosingh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Hannibal Callendar was a little too slow when Charles Thompson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 3-1. Hannibal Callendar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Chancellor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Billy Chancellor was the one to do the kick off. After 87 minutes, Manny Dillon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KIngs of Madrid and the El Dorado players grew even worse after the yellow card.
