Makandal Mendes hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevon Hussein during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, AC Port of Spain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevon Hussein to maneuver through the defense. Clyde Spencer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Winston Castagne in the 26th minute of the match. If Kern Baptiste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bob Ramlogan kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Under 21 Club got a freekick which was hit by Dominic Connell. Kern Baptiste scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clyde Spencer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kern Baptiste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Dominic Connell made the kick off in the second half. Beryl Rodriguez hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Bob Sealy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Charles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Kern Baptiste was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Under 21 Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Port of Spain the free kick. A collision led to Under 21 Club getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Kern Baptiste hit a great ball. Under 21 Club's Raffique Hennessy was substituted for Brother St Clair. After 69 played minutes Under 21 Club got a freekick which was hit by Kern Baptiste. After having played for 70 minutes, Austin Mathur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Port of Spain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Austin Mathur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Winston Castagne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clyde Spencer having to interfere. Under 21 Club's Ralph Charles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neeshan La Forest in the 75th minute of play. Reyad Chamberlain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clyde Spencer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Winston Castagne's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute, Under 21 Club's Dominic Connell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Under 21 Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
