The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emirares Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Palaimon Gomatos having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Chaguanas AC's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Mitchell-Gift came free, but Edmundo William Rampersad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Chaguanas AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bhadase Solomon to maneuver through the defense. In the 13thth minute of the game Anton Phipps who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chaguanas AC's Edmundo William Rampersad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chaguanas AC's zone, Franklin Mitchell-Gift stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmundo William Rampersad came out of the goal and Franklin Mitchell-Gift tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Anton Phipps had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmundo William Rampersad. Chaguanas AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Phipps was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 19 minutes, Anton Phipps managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Liverpool Tobago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Phipps was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Anton Phipps came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the F.C. Liverpool Tobago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Phipps couldn't finish the play. After 22 played minutes Chaguanas AC got a freekick which was hit by Mojah Ramcharan. After having played for 23 minutes, Craig Callendar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Liverpool Tobago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Craig Callendar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute of the match Chaguanas AC got a corner. F.C. Liverpool Tobago's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mojah Ramcharan ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 31st minute, Kevon Najjar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmundo William Rampersad was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 34thth minute of the game Franklin Mitchell-Gift who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chaguanas AC's Edmundo William Rampersad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Chaguanas AC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Sooklal came free, but Edmundo William Rampersad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo William Rampersad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Mitchell-Gift, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franklin Mitchell-Gift in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo William Rampersad saved Chaguanas AC from getting behind. Kevon Najjar hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Liverpool Tobago's zone, Paula Toure stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Palaimon Gomatos came out of the goal and Paula Toure tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franklin Mitchell-Gift made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Chaguanas AC's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Mitchell-Gift came free, but Edmundo William Rampersad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Chaguanas AC's Edmundo William Rampersad got control of the ball when Kevon Najjar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chaguanas AC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Craig Callendar was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C. Liverpool Tobago's players had a chance to rest. Jan Sooklal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo William Rampersad having to interfere. Edmundo William Rampersad didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Franklin Mitchell-Gift shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. After 65 minutes of play, F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Jan Sooklal made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmundo William Rampersad was left in no man's land by his defense there! 67 minutes into the game, Mojah Ramcharan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chaguanas AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. Liverpool Tobago the free kick. A collision led to Chaguanas AC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Mojah Ramcharan hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Chaguanas AC defense, Franklin Mitchell-Gift kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmundo William Rampersad. The Chaguanas AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmundo William Rampersad should have stopped the shot. Edmundo William Rampersad was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Franklin Mitchell-Gift capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Franklin Mitchell-Gift really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. After having played for 80 minutes, Kevon Najjar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Liverpool Tobago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevon Najjar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chaguanas AC's Edmundo William Rampersad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Mitchell-Gift in the 82nd minute of play. Kevon Najjar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Franklin Mitchell-Gift got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franklin Mitchell-Gift received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edmundo William Rampersad came out and tried to block the shot, but Franklin Mitchell-Gift slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute, Anton Phipps ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmundo William Rampersad was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Anton Phipps's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Edmundo William Rampersad skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match was over F.C. Liverpool Tobago could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chaguanas AC throughout the match.
