Spectators: 8696 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 2481, VIP seats: 215) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Neeshan La Forest took the kick off in the first half of the match. With his leg Edmundo William Rampersad managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when AC Port of Spain's Bob Sealy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 8thth minute of the game Paula Toure who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Port of Spain's Clyde Spencer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Emirares Bastos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clyde Spencer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Edmundo William Rampersad was a little too slow when Neeshan La Forest got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jason Bishop during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jason Bishop kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Chaguanas AC's Edmundo William Rampersad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Chaguanas AC from getting a goal against them. The AC Port of Spain fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when AC Port of Spain's Bob Sealy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the AC Port of Spain defense, Emirares Bastos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clyde Spencer. The AC Port of Spain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clyde Spencer should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Emirares Bastos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chaguanas AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emirares Bastos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clyde Spencer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute Emirares Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clyde Spencer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emirares Bastos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Emirares Bastos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chaguanas AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Chaguanas AC's Edmundo William Rampersad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neeshan La Forest in the 62nd minute of play. Jason Bishop hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Austin Mathur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chaguanas AC's zone, Neeshan La Forest stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmundo William Rampersad came out of the goal and Neeshan La Forest tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Neeshan La Forest managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Port of Spain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neeshan La Forest was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute Bob Sealy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo William Rampersad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bob Sealy struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Edmundo William Rampersad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Port of Spain. Neeshan La Forest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Edmundo William Rampersad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Neeshan La Forest had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes AC Port of Spain got a freekick which was hit by Wade Pierre. After 95 minutes of play, Chaguanas AC's Emirares Bastos made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clyde Spencer was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chaguanas AC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
