Ralph Charles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Beltran in the 8th minute of the match. Ralph Charles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Cipriano Virila was a little too slow when Winston Castagne got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-1. Ralph Charles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Ramkisson's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Dwight Eversley McLean kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Sterling Springer hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Lucas Beltran took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralph Charles. Ralph Charles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Under 21 Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Nacional were winning 1-3.

51 minutes into the game, FC Nacional's Lucas Beltran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ralph Charles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Ralph Charles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güray Altunışık in the 54th minute of play. Lucas Beltran came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ralph Charles could save by the left post. Enrique Rayman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ralph Charles made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Nacional's Güray Altunışık slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ralph Charles. That made the score 1-5 after 74 minutes of play. The supporters of Under 21 Club booed when FC Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Sabella didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Under 21 Club's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Beltran came free, but Ralph Charles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Under 21 Club booed when FC Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Scott Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Nacional's Scott Garcia suffered a concussion in the 94th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Dwight Eversley McLean charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. FC Nacional played a much better game than Under 21 Club and deserved their victory. The Under 21 Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
