The audience thought a goal was coming when Xefe Bango got free with Ezkerra Guillen in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, Elite's Elizardo Teresa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eate Astudillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ezkerra Guillen made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Xefe Bango sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute Gartzi Monroy collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Aztore Hernaiz charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aztore Hernaiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Elite's Aztore Hernaiz got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xefe Bango got free with Ezkerra Guillen in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eate Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elizardo Teresa in the 29th minute of play. Elizardo Teresa might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eate Astudillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elizardo Teresa ran back to his position shaking his head. Jimeno Monterros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elite's Ezkerra Guillen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Elite from getting a goal against them. Xefe Bango fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezkerra Guillen having to interfere. A hard shot 47 in the game by Xefe Bango from a close distance when the talented Ezkerra Guillen managed to make a qualified save. Elite's players were relieved. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimeno Monterros to make the kick off. Olivares's Eate Astudillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Olivares from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, Elite's Elizardo Teresa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eate Astudillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Elite's zone, Xefe Bango stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezkerra Guillen came out of the goal and Xefe Bango tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Elite's Jimeno Monterros in 74 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Eate Astudillo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 78th minute Jimeno Monterros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eate Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes, Abelardo Lavin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elite and the Olivares players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abelardo Lavin hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Chano Babiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ezkerra Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
